Community Capacity Building
Community Financial focuses on expanding impact by strengthening the capacity of other community organizations rather than simply scaling our own services. The most effective support is often delivered by trusted organizations already working within their communities.
By providing training, resources, infrastructure support, and collaborative service delivery, we help grassroots organizations offer tax and benefit services in ways that best meet the needs of the people they serve.
Supporting community-facing organizations allows services to reach more people, particularly those who may otherwise face barriers to accessing support. Community Financial provides training and support so organizations can deliver tax and benefit assistance directly within their programs as part of a more holistic approach to support.
We offer a flexible approach to financial empowerment. Organizations can choose from a menu of support options and determine how these services are integrated into their programs, based on their capacity and the needs of their participants.
Our team is happy to offer information, sessions, workshops, and resources on financial literacy topics to community groups, agencies, and organizations whose employees or clients might benefit. These sessions may include information on budgeting, money management, and other topics related to financial well-being. There is no charge for this service for non-profits and community groups.
